Our installations

With over 1000m2 and about 400m2 dedicated to our resident artist, we offer any configurations, from shared open space to private room, our spaces are modular and adaptable to your creative process and needs.

We provide professional equipment and all what artists need for production.

• Several TOOLS: spatulas, ladles, mixers, jars, measuring cups, brushes, roller, clothes, cleaning supplies...

• Also...computers with adobe suite, scanner, light table, cutting and wrapping area...
  

Art Supplies

We propose several options of art set, included in your rental fee, or from our store.

• BASIC ART SET included in your rental fee (sketch book, watercolor set, pencils..).

• SPECIFIC SET, with oil, acrylic, pigment, ink, pastel, thinner, and really more available.

All our sets include used or new art supplies that are shared among our residents. Resident will keep their set during their stay and will return it before leaving. These supplies and any other material cannot be taken away.

• IKONO ART SHOP : Our Studio stock contains several materials and art supplies available for purchase : New or unopened, oil, acrylic, gesso, mounted canvas or roll, varnish and more. Price are equivalent or cheaper than external shop.

• PRE-ORDER : We can prepare your order in advance for your stay.

RATES, PLAN & MEMBERSHIP

Our resident will choose our BASIC OFFER or become a STUDIO IKONO MEMBER with price preferences and complete access to our facilities.
Our plans include an access to our OPEN SPACE STUDIO with a BASIC ART SET

Membership

Regular / long term rental
Membership Rates :   1 month : 10.000 ¥ / 3 months : 25.000 ¥ / 6 months : 40.000 ¥ / 1 year : 60.000 ¥
Rental fees from 2 hours, days, weeks or months…  depending on duration, frenquency, consecutive period or separate days, including weekend, evening, night, or early morning...
Quotation regarding your needs and your budget, we are flexible !

  Weekend and Holiday : From 9:00 to 19:00 – Weekend rates

• EVENING TIME : From 19:00 to 22:00  - Time charge + 20%

  EARLY MORNING : From 6:00 to 9:00  - Time charge + 20%

STUDIO IKONO is available for only 5 artists in the same time, from September to June

Accomodation

No accomodation on-site.
We propose a study and break tatami room that can not be considered as an accomodation.
We recommand to artists to organize their long stay with the several hotels in Narita city
We can find a place for you near the studio if you need help.

House rules:

• Mutual respect is essential among residents, and with Ikono staff. All needs or problems can be easily resolved through listening, understanding and action.

• Please respect the premices, restricted area, equipment, art supplies, schedules, cleanliness, and safety to ensure a peaceful and creative atmosphere for everyone.

• No supplies or any other material can not be taken away.

• Any resident will have to accept our terms of use and policy in a formal contract before any stay.

Insurance :

Residents are responsible for their own insurance (property, liability).
