NATALIA JONA

Natalia JONA is an artist  from Poland who lives and works between London and Tokyo.

Using the expression " Shapes dressed in feelings, feelings dressed in shapes " as a line of thought, her artistic approach explores compositions of organic and geometric forms in a harmonious dialogue of spontaneity, balance and movement.
JONA's abstract interpretations are directly inspired by reality, such as the human figure, landscapes, and visual narratives. Each form evolves as a unique entity, entering into physical and visual connexion with others, much like the relationships existing between elements or living forms in natural environment.
Her compositions feature meticulously layered ink patterns juxtaposed with evocative forms and accents of color. The forms speak to and respond to one another. The tension of a moment suspended at the height of this relationship invites viewers to engage with the work on both an emotional and intellectual level.
