Dany Lartigue is a French painter who lived between Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera and Montmartre in Paris. He is the son of the famous photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue.
His atypical style, close to naïve art, offers us a precise drawing, both in form and detail, of these scenes of daily life and happiness that his father shared with us in his photographs.
Along with his friends and accomplices Juliette Gréco, Mouloudji, Annabelle Buffet, and Picasso, he became one of the kings of Saint-Tropez's party scene in the post-war years.
